Spring Theme

Scrunchies make lovely buds for Spring
For Spring Theme this year, we brought in some branches and the children used 'scrunchies' to make bare branches bloom. This was a great fine motor activity.
We used yellow and white paper to make them look like the 'forsythia' bushes that bloom right outside our school. The crepe paper is stiffer than what I usually use for this exercise (tissue paper). We have the children use glue in a squeeze bottle (which is also hand strengthening).
